Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the kind of mobile RPG I keep hoping to find and rarely do. You lead a small band of travelers across a crumbling kingdom, and instead of endless grind, the game pushes you forward with actual story beats and characters who remember things you did earlier.

Combat is turn-based and reads cleanly on a phone screen. You tap to pick targets, swipe to chain skills, and the whole thing stays legible even during the busier fights. There's enough depth in building your party that two players can end up with very different teams.

It respects your time more than most games in the genre. Battles are quick, saves are frequent, and you can put it down for a week and jump right back in without feeling lost.
