About
PocketPlay started as a group chat where four friends kept sending each other links to games worth trying on the train. At some point we had so many notes that building a small site made more sense than losing everything in old messages. That's really all this is: people who like mobile games writing about them in plain language.,We don't chase press releases or trending charts. A game gets reviewed when one of us installs it, plays it for long enough to form an opinion, and then can't stop talking about it. Sometimes that's a polished racing game, sometimes it's a tiny arcade thing with two buttons.,Our picks cover a bit of everything, from role-playing adventures to quick casual rounds you can finish while the kettle boils. We care more about whether a game respects your time and your thumbs than about how big the studio behind it is.,If a game bores us, we say so. If it surprises us, we say that too. No numbers are inflated to be polite.
